Great Service

Hello,

     Just want to thank the Lord for a Great service Sunday.  Sunday morning was so sweet.  People started coming to the altar and then going to people and hugging them, telling them how much they love them.  Children went to dads and moms hugging and sharing things, it was special.  A lot of tears and a lot of rejoicing in the Goodness of our Great God!!!!! 

     To the PCS Boys Basketball team and to my assistant coaches that work so hard and did a great job playing in the tournament. Thank you! We came in Fourth out of 8 teams.

Anniversay Sunday at Philadelphia Baptist Church

Hello Friends,

     I can’t wait till Sunday Dec. 4^th, 2011.  Anniversary Sunday! The Church is Celebrating 43 years of serving the Lord.  Bro. Bob Daughtery will be with us and bring the message Sunday morning and night.  Bro. Bob is one of only four former pastors of the church.  Do you realize that when the church was started I was only 3 years old?  Now I’m the pastor of this wonderful group of people.  The sun never sits on the ministry of PBC.  This year our Missions Committee has figured, by reading the report of all our 118 missionaries, that we have an average of around 20 souls saved every day through some ministry that we are involved with.  Come and be a part of the 43rd Anniversary Sunday this Dec. 4^th at 10:30 AM and 6:00pm.  Lunch will follow the morning service.

    I trust everyone had a Great Thanksgiving.  We had a Great service Sunday morning and Sunday night.  The Lord is truly meeting with us.  We have a great group of people that truly loves the Lord.  Please pray for those sick in the church and give a call to those who may be missing. I know the Lord is working and the Devil will be working also.

Hello to all,

     I just want to say thank you to the faithful members of Philadelphia Baptist Church that made the Revival such a blessing to me.  It was such a joy to see the members of PBC come together and worship.  I trust you were blessed also.  Can’t wait till Wed. Night when we have our Thanksgiving service.  What a joy it is every year to hear the testimony of God’s faithful.

REVIVAL

Nov. 18^th 2011

Hello to All,

     I trust all is well.  We have had two nights of revival and it’s been a blessing.  Had a great crowd wed. night of our faithful church members 114.  Thursday night was a real blessing with many visitors had 154 in church. WOW! We had such a sweet Spirit in the service.  We are looking for a real blessing tonight.  Please come out and help us worship our wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ the Lord.  Today we start the first day of 4 days of picture taking for our NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY.  Check your card and see when you are to be there.  Have any questions just call us.  Not too late if you have not signed up, just call.   What a blessing!  Have a Wonderful Day.  Pastor Tim

Pastor's update - October 24, 2011

Good Morning,

     I trust you had a great weekend.  We had a good service at PBC.  We have an exciting week plan for this week.  We have special things going on at the Church and School.  I want to invite you to be at our PCS Fundraiser at the Plainville Gym, 6pm in Plainville, Ga..  We will have Hamburger and BBQ. Plates for $5, Hot Dog plates for $3, and a Silent Cake Auction.  You will want to see the Ladies play the Ladies Eagles and the Men play the Young Men PCS Basketball Team.  The young children will have fun playing kickball and basketball.  It will be a great night of Family Fun.

   Harvest Fest will be on Sat. at the Church starting at 6pm Oct. 29^th.  We will have inflatable for the kids and many games for them to play.  We will have free hot dogs, chips and drink. Each child will get a big bag of candy.  We are sporting a western theme. So come on out and enjoy a night of Family fun.

I had a great trip with my wife and the staff of Philadelphia Christian School as we went to the Teachers Conference in Macon, Ga.  Just want to thank the Lord for a wonderful Staff. See everyone in church tomorrow.  I am looking for a great service at PBC on Sunday.
